As a young man from Northern Minnesota, Joshua James graduated McNally Smith College of Music in '03 with a degree in Music Production. Since graduating, Joshua has spent time touring Europe and continues his studies attending Business classes at Augsburg College. While maintaining an incredibly active presence in the music scene with his band, The Vintage Mink (www.thevintagemink.com) and solo project Josh Von Mink (www.joshvonmink.com), Joshua has worked closely with some of industries top producers, engineers, and players. As a professional singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist since age 11, Joshua has an impressive amount of studio experience producing a wide variety of styles. Joshua has a knack for taking his projects to a new level with an approachable perfectionism. He hears where and how music fits into the big picture. He is more than happy to be a partner-producer of Sonica Recording Studio.
